Nursery

Ages up to 3

Our nursery provides a safe, caring environment for our youngest children while parents attend church services. Our nursery workers strive to make each child feel comfortable and welcome. *For mothers with infants, we also provide a private nursing room where they can comfortably care for and nurse their babies.

Primary Church

Ages 3–5

Our Primary Church provides a welcoming, age-appropriate setting where young children can learn about God and His Word. Through Bible lessons, singing, Scripture memory, and activities, we seek to help children begin building a foundation of faith in Jesus Christ.

Junior Church

Ages 6-12

Children enjoy Bible lessons, Scripture memorization, singing, and engaging activities designed to help them learn God’s Word and develop a foundation for Christian living.

Central Teens

Our Central Teens ministry helps teenagers develop a personal walk with God through practical Bible teaching, godly friendships, and opportunities to serve. Through Sunday School lessons and teen activities, we encourage young people to grow in their faith and make wise decisions based on God’s Word.

Bus Ministry

Transportation for Children & Adults

Our Bus Ministry provides transportation for children and adults who would like to attend Central Baptist Church. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to hear God’s Word and be part of a caring church family.

Our dedicated bus workers help bring people to church each week. Whether you’re a parent looking for transportation for your children or an adult needing a ride yourself, we’d be glad to help you get to church! Need a ride? Just give us a call at 217-615-1980

Sunday School

Bible Classes for Every Age

At Central Baptist Church, Sunday School is an important part of helping people grow in their knowledge and understanding of God’s Word. We offer Bible classes for every age, from young children to adults.

Our classes provide opportunities to study the Scriptures, ask questions, build friendships, and grow spiritually. Whether you’re just beginning to learn about the Bible or have studied it for years, there’s a place for you in Sunday School!

Music Ministry

Choir, Special Music & Traditional Hymns

Music is an important part of our services at Central Baptist Church. Through traditional hymns, choir singing, and special music, we seek to honor God, encourage believers, and prepare hearts for the preaching of His Word.

We believe music is also an opportunity to serve. If you’re looking for a church home, we invite you to become part of our church family. Church members who enjoy singing are encouraged to get involved in our choir and music ministry!

Soul-Winning & Missions

Sharing the Gospel at Home & Around the World

At Central Baptist Church, we believe every Christian has a responsibility to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Evangelism is something we emphasize both as a church working together and as individuals sharing Christ in everyday life.

We provide opportunities and resources to help, including organized soul-winning times, Gospel tracts, door hangers, and practical classes on how to share the Gospel and lead someone to Christ.

Through our Faith Promise Missions program, we also support missionaries carrying the Gospel to people around the world.

Men’s Prayer Group

Prayer, Fellowship & Encouragement

At Central Baptist Church, we believe in the importance and power of prayer. Our Men’s Prayer Group provides an opportunity for men to come together, share prayer requests, and seek God’s help for their families, church, and community.

We encourage the men of our church to make prayer a priority and join us as we lift one another up before the Lord. Contact Pastor Brown for more info.

Kids for Jesus Camp

Bible Teaching, Activities & Friendship

Kids for Jesus Camp gives children an opportunity to enjoy activities, build friendships, and learn more about God’s Word.

Our goal is to provide a positive, Christ-centered experience where children can hear Bible teaching, grow in their understanding of the Scriptures, and make lasting memories.
