At Central Baptist Church, we believe children matter to God and that the truths they learn while they are young can help shape the rest of their lives.

Our children’s ministries are designed to provide a welcoming environment where children can learn God’s Word, build friendships, develop godly character, and enjoy coming to church.

We believe parents have the primary responsibility for raising their children. Our goal is to support parents by reinforcing Biblical truths and teaching children lessons that will help them at home, at school, and throughout their lives.

Whether your family attends together or your children ride one of our church buses, we would be glad to have them join us!

What Will My Child Learn?

At Central Baptist Church, we want children to understand not only what the Bible says but also how its teachings apply to everyday life.

Through age-appropriate Bible lessons and activities, we encourage children to:

• Read, understand, and learn from the Bible.
• Pray and develop a personal relationship with God.
• Memorize Scripture.
• Show kindness and respect toward others.
• Honor and obey their parents and other proper authorities.
• Develop honesty, responsibility, and self-control.
• Make wise choices based on Biblical principles.
• Learn how to apply God’s Word to everyday situations.

Fun With a Purpose

We want children to enjoy coming to church! Our programs include Bible teaching, singing, Scripture memory, games, prizes, activities, and opportunities to make friends.

While we believe children should have a good time, entertainment is not our primary goal. We want them to have fun while learning something that will make a lasting difference in their lives.

A Safe & Caring Environment

At Central Baptist Church, we take the responsibility of caring for children seriously.

Our children’s workers are expected to follow church child-safety procedures regarding supervision, appropriate conduct, discipline, transportation, and the care of children.

We believe children thrive in an environment with clear expectations, consistent routines, caring adults, and Biblical instruction.

Our desire is to provide an orderly and welcoming environment where children feel comfortable, parents feel informed, and families know their children are important to us.

Parents are always welcome to ask questions about our children’s programs, supervision, and safety procedures.

Bus Transportation

Need a Ride to Church? We’d Be Glad to Help!

Central Baptist Church operates a bus ministry to help children and adults attend church services.

Each Sunday, our bus workers travel through the community providing transportation for those who would like to attend.

Sunday Morning Bus Pickup: 8:30–9:30 AM and typical return is 12:30-1:30 PM

Pickup times vary depending on your location and the bus route.

If you would like your children to ride the church bus, please contact us so we can discuss pickup arrangements, answer your questions, and explain what to expect.
